the story of echo
Echo began as a simple sketch—a small side table with a gently curved edge that immediately stood out. There was something effortless yet deliberate about its form, and that subtle curve became the foundation of the design.
As the concept evolved, a second, smaller table was introduced, designed to nest seamlessly within the first while mirroring its arc. Together, they created a sense of harmony, but each table also functioned beautifully on its own, adapting to different spaces with ease.
Material selection proved to be a challenge. The fluid curve required precision, leading to experiments with bent plywood, aluminum sheet, and oven-molded acrylic. After plenty of discussions and a lot of ‘no we can’t make it’ we finally convinced someone to give it a go and that was it, Echo was officially made.
Originally envisioned as raw aluminum, the final design took on a deep blue powder coat—a timeless finish that highlights the curve without overwhelming it.
